Other factors that you didnt consider is unemployment, which had really broken the backs of the poor, esp. post covid and inflation, which led to price increases of common household grocery items. This coupled with the farmers discontent and the caste alignment created the perfect storm against the BJP.
But your analysis is spot on and well articulated and researched. I'd be interested to read about the other major states where BJP lost out like Rajasthan, Punjab and West Bengal, where they were expecting to win.
